Stephanie Eaton, MD

Stephanie Eaton, MDIn addition to pulmonary diseases, Dr. Eaton has special interest in critical care medicine. She has been the Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit since 2007. Dr. Eaton has developed a specialized team of medical providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners and physicians assistants to manage the care of critically ill patients at Northside Hospital. In addition to ICU responsibilities, Dr. Eaton has an active role in Medical Staff leadership at Northside. She is a former Chairman of the Department of Medicine. Currently, she is the Chairman of Quality Improvement for the Department of Medicine and the Chairman of Pharmacy and Therapeutics. While training at Emory, Dr. Eaton developed an interest in clinical research and is actively involved in clinical trials. In addition, she is working closely with Northside's Central Research Office to expand pulmonary and critical care research to both our office and hospital patients.
