Venkatesh Lakshminarayanan, MD

Venkatesh Lakshminarayanan, MDDr. Lakshminarayanan (Dr. L) joined Pulmonary and Critical Care of Atlanta in the fall of 2013 after completing his fellowship at the University of Missouri. After receiving his Ph.D and M.D. from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois, he went on to complete his residency at the University of Nevada. He then joined the faculty at Yale University School of Medicine at Griffin Hospital, where he served as chief resident and worked as a hospitalist prior to his fellowship. Dr. L has extensive experience in both internal medicine and pulmonary/critical care, has published his research numerous times, and has presented his work across the country at some of the most esteemed symposiums. His interests in pulmonary medicine include asthma, occupational lung disease and interstitial lung diseases. He is skilled in various pulmonary procedures including flexible bronchoscopy, bronchoscopy with endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and placement of PleurX drainage catheters drainage of recurrent pleural effusions.
